The Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. This great site covers just about everything going on at MBARI. A tremendous educational resource, MBARI has a collection of AVHRR and SeaWiFS Images covering the West Coast of the United States. These images were collected using a 1.5-meter Global Imaging PolarTracker Earth Station. AVHRR data were processed using Global Imaging's AVHRR Pak 2.0 software, while SeaWiFS using Global Imaging's SeaWiFS and NASA's SEADAS software.

Rutgers University, New Jersey. More AVHRR Images, but of many different areas around the US, plus they have image archives for important weather "events" like past hurricanes and tornadoes. Rutgers also uses Global Imaging's PolarTracker system at their HRPT recieving station located at the Center for Remote Sensing and Spatial Analysis.

National Weather Service, Alaska. One of Global Imaging's first customers, they've got all the weather information you need for the Alaska region, including Marine Ice, and Sea Surface Temperature images, Satellite Images of NOAA visible and infrared, and GOES visible and infrared telemetry. All the data were collected at the NWS Anchorage office using one of several Global Imaging PolarTracker and EarthTracer ground systems. NWS forecasters created the images with software developed jointly by the NWS Alaska and Global Imaging.

National Operational Hydrologic Remote Sensing Center, Minnesota. NOHRSC is the National Weather Service center of expertise in satellite and airborne remote sensing. They support the NWS operational hydrology program for the Nation using the PolarTracker System. Forecasters collect remotely sensed hydrology products to issue such advisories as river and flood forecasts, which help reduce the loss of life and property due to severe flooding as well as aiding in maximizing the use of the Nation's limited water resources.
