NOAA Presents Space Shuttle Program Commendation to Global Imaging

Houston, TX October 1, 2011: Frank Brody, Chief of the National Weather Service’s Spaceflight Meteorology Group presented a Commendation to Serge Masse and Michael Guberek for support of NASA’s human spaceflight program for the past 20 years. Global Imaging is the main provider of satellite image ingestion for the group’s McIDAS system. The specially designed certificate contains a patch that was flown in space aboard STS-134 mission of Space Shuttle Endeavour from May 16 to June 1, 2011.
